This project is a seven-storey high‑complexity hospital with an underground parking level, located in Santa Fe, Argentina, and developed as a final-year architecture.
Site strategy and context
The building is arranged longitudinally on the plot to optimize orientation, natural light, and visual connections with the urban surroundings. A raised forecourt or hardscape plaza extends the public realm, acting as both an urban threshold and a gathering space for patients, visitors, and staff.
Functional organization
The ground floor concentrates the main entrances and the most public programs, ensuring clear and intuitive circulation between the city and the hospital interior. Functional packages are stacked vertically from the most public uses to the most private and technically complex, with the upper levels housing inpatient units and specialized support services.
Circulation and services
Public, technical, and emergency routes are clearly separated to ensure safety, efficiency, and controlled flows throughout the building. Service and support areas are placed on the less exposed façades and connected directly to the underground parking level, streamlining logistics while minimizing interference with patient and visitor movement.
